SWEET CREPES
SWEET CREPES
Sweet crepes are a delicacy of French cuisine that has conquered palates around the world. These thin and delicate dough discs are made with basic ingredients such as flour, eggs, milk and sugar, but their true charm lies in the variety of fillings and toppings that can be added to them.
Ingredients
Crepe dough:
1 egg
1 cup whole milk
1 cup of flour
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sunflower oil
Frying pan:
1 knob of unsalted butter
Preparation
1. Put all the ingredients together in a tall glass and with the hand mixer we integrate them until there are no lumps.
2. In a frying pan (large or medium) over medium-high heat (7 on the ceramic hob), put the almonds or a glob of unsalted butter and wait for it to melt. When it is melted, spread the butter well over the pan with absorbent kitchen paper.
3. Now the pan is ready for you to make the crepes. Pour a little of the mixture you have made and rotate the pan so that the dough is distributed well and you are left with a thin crepe.
4. Let it brown without touching it (approximately 1 min). Lift the edge a little with the help of a slotted spoon and when you see that it is already golden, turn it over with the help of the slotted spoon and wait until this side is also done. When it’s ready, remove it from the heat and start again with another crepe.
